book fairy birthday card

This next card that I'm going to share with you is a very simple yet cute one! This card is perfect to be given to your friends who loves reading books. My husband calls this the book fairy birthday card.

Book Fairy Birthday Card

Here are the simple steps in making this card:
1.  Cut out parts of the book, eyelashes and mouth using coloured papers. You may also cut-out the eyes, but for this one, I used a pair of googly eyes. Then label your book on the spine. This book is entitled "Lady D" published by DK, after the birthday celebrant's initials. When you've got all the pieces, stick them together.

2.  For the fairy's wings, cut out two hearts, one should be smaller than the other. Cut out the inner part of the hearts then cut in the middle to create the wings. Don't throw the inner hearts as this may be useful to your other cards. Cut out the princess crown using the same coloured paper.

Step 2. Book Fairy Birthday Card

3.  Stick them all together to create this cute book fairy.

See, very simple for this cute card. Hope you enjoyed reading and hope this might help you out in your future card making.
